Baby Mela

How does 6 months go by so fast? Today I had the pleasure of capturing some portraits of sweet baby Mela. It seems like just yesterday that I was at Nathan and Monica's house taking photos when she was just a few days old. She is super cute! I think you'll agree. Monica and Nathan, thank you for allowing me to capture a moment in time with your sweet daughter.

Baby Penelope

I know it's been a while since my last post, but I promise I have a good excuse. Ian and I welcomed a new baby boy on March 15 and I vowed to take a maternity leave. I took a quick vacation from my leave today to capture baby Penelope. I am sure you will agree with me that she's one of the cutest little girls ever! I am so glad the weather held out during our scheduled time. Thank you, Abby, for keeping the faith today! It was great meeting you and your sweet family. I hope you like the sneak peek.

Newborn Mela

Oh my gosh! I forgot how tiny little baby newborns are and oh so cute! I had the honor today of visiting with Nathan, Monica, and Mela for Mela's first photo shoot. Mela is a little less than 1 week old. She was such a sweetie. Thank you so much Monica and Nathan, for inviting me into your home for such a precious time in your lives. You sure have a little angel. I these photos bring a smile to your face like they did mine.

Jill, Kyle, and Elizabeth

I met Jill, Kyle, and Elizabeth on campus today to do some photos for a Christmas card. It was the perfect overcast day all day...of course until our session time when it started to rain. Luckily, they are a fun family and still wanted to give it a shot. I think we came out with some great photos (but how could you not with subjects like them). Clawson Family

I love babies. I love kids. And I love parents who obviously love being parents. My photo shoot this morning was all of these things. Sweet Taylor is a little over 6 months and sitting up like a rock star. Nolan is 3.5 and such a sweet little guy and so good following requests. Amy and Matt have been friends of mine for a while, so I won't mention their ages, or I might get fired. ha! We had a good time exploring some different places on campus. Jacob - 6 Months

I had such a fun day today. 2 photo shoots on such a gorgeous day. If you follow my blog at all, you may think the photos below look a little familiar. That is because it was just 2 months ago that I had the opportunity to capture Jacob's 4 month photos. Now that the weather warmed up and he can sit up on his own, we got back together to snap shots of Jacob at 6 months. He's such a sweetie. Jacob

Today I had the pleasure of photographing 4 month old Jacob. He was an absolute doll. His mom said his dad could make him smile, and boy was she right (although I think he was smiling at mommy too). I had a first with this one...right when we began the photo shoot, the tornado sirens were sounding. I am glad we didn't end up with more of a story than just that. Miss Karly

Have I mentioned lately that I love babies? Karly was such a sweet little model. We opted to stay inside since the weather turned cold. Here are just a few pictures we snapped that day. I had such a good time getting to see little "Sprout" and her mama. Thanks again, Abi, for allowing me the chance to capture the innocence of your sweet little girl!

Mylan the Princess

The perfect end to a beautiful day. Mylan is 10 months old and just a doll. It takes nothing to make her smile (she must be tough having two older brothers). Babies in the fall are so cute! Drake

Today I hung out with Drake and his mom, Angela at a local park for a while. Drake had a lot of fun finding rocks, leaves, and sticks. He's such a happy and cute little explorer. Thank you, Drake (and Angela), for allowing me to capture such fun on a beautiful fall day.
