Meghan and Brent Got Hitched!

It was a dream day for a dream wedding. The bride was absolutely gorgeous with the sweetest groom. The tender moments between Brent and Meghan never stopped. Of course, no wedding goes without a few bumps to make it memorable. My moment was my organ player (who didn't exactly play a recognizable song). Meghan's was her hair. I am not just a photographer...I can also pass as a beautician now. Meghan's hair wasn't exactly what she had in mind, so her little sis and I made some minor edits (as I like to call it). I felt so honored to be part of Meghan and Brent's big day. They were two of the kindest and most fun people I have worked with. Thank you so much, Meghan and Brent, for trusting me to capture your wedding day. I hope you had a fabulous honeymoon and you like the sneak peek. The rest will be soon to follow.

The details - I fell in love with her shoes!

I'm not sure Meghan's mom was thrilled to see her baby posed on a grand piano looking so hot. ;) Meghan said her one wish was a photo of Brent with his "big smile".

These photos mean more once you know the story of what's going on. Meghan and Brent chose not to see each other before the wedding. I think it about killed them that day being apart - they were so cute. Meghan hid behind the wall while Ian and I got Brent into position. Then she inched up just far enough to hold his hand for a moment. The emotion and anticipation in their faces, along with the sweet exchange of "I love you's" was enough to make anyone tear up. Thanks for the awesome idea, Meghan! I hope this is exactly what you dreamed of for this shot.

There's nothing like a dad with his little girl and a groom seeing his bride for the first time. Then, a heavenly marriage sealed with a kiss.

To be continued...

Danyelle and Andrew Get Hitched!

It was a dream wedding on a dream day. Danyelle could be a model. The weather in Louisville cooled off slightly and made it a perfect day for a summer wedding outdoors. Danyelle and Andrew were married at Gingerwoods in Louisville, KY. It was unforgettable in so many ways. One of my favorite stories from the day was the big bumble bee that decided it wanted a bite of Danyelle's bouquet. I must say, she handled that with a lot more grace than I would have! Thank you, Danyelle and Andrew, for trusting me to capture your love on your wedding day. I can't wait to share all of the photos with you. But until then, I hope you like the sneak peek.

Beautiful rings!

Andrew patiently waiting for the big I do's.

Hello Gorgeous!

So in love!

Whitney and Andrew tie the knot!

I had an awesome weekend down in Louisville, KY. I had the privilege of capturing Whitney and Andrew's big day on Saturday and it couldn't have been better. The weather was gorgeous, people were great, and I had the opportunity to see two people find the best thing in life - love. Thank you so much, Whitney and Andrew! You have no idea how much it meant to me that you trusted me to capture your wedding. I have so many more pictures I wanted to post, I could stay up all night. For now, here's a quick sneak peek. I hope you have a great time on your honeymoon and you feel as happy as you did on Saturday. Congratulations!

Mike and Julie

Today I had the great privilege of photographing my first wedding. Mike and Julie went out on a limb and chose a rookie to capture their special day. For that, I am forever grateful. Never mind that I tried to take a "Mr. and Mrs." picture with the bride and the best man. Mike has a twin brother (as you can see from one of the photos below). He only threw me off a couple of times today. The beautiful couple got married at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church in Lafayette, IN. They are such a caring couple with great family and friends. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek of their photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Mike and Julie, thank you so much for allowing me to capture such a special day in your lives. Congratulations!

Julie with her cute nieces.

My favorite part of this photo of Mike seeing his bride is his Kleenex in his left hand. So sweet!

The handsome couple.

I have to give credit to Mike for this cute pose.

With this ring...

And they lived happily ever after!

Brandi and Brad

Brandi and Brad are true Boilermakers. We had a great time running around campus snapping nontraditional wedding shots. As you can see from the photos, Brandi and Brad have a lot of fun together. Thank you, Brandi and Brad, for sharing such a special day with me.
