Laura and Jeff - Family

Today was a beautiful fall day (probably one of the few we have left before my favorite season sets in). I met Laura and Jeff down at Happy Hollow Park.  Most of the leaves have fallen, but we found a few bright ones still on a little tree to add some color. Laura is 22 weeks prego - and never takes a bad photo. We had fun finding the best poses to show off her cute baby bump. You two are so cute (or should I say 3?, or 5 including the pups). I hope you enjoy the sneak peek. Thank you for the opportunity to capture such a special time in your life.

I love Oliver (pup on the right) smiling.

Meghan and Brent - Engaged!

Nothing is more fun that photographing a couple in love; especially on a perfect fall day. Meghan and Brent will be getting married in April, so we met today to do some engagement portraits. Most of them were shot downtown. They have the cutest engagement story involving a fishing pole, the pedestrian bridge, and of course, a gorgeous ring. Thank you for the chance to capture a moment in time with you, Brent and Meghan. I can't wait to meet again in April, if not before then. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

Jill, Kyle, & Elizabeth

I can't believe it's already that time of the year that we are thinking of holiday portraits. Today I had the chance to photograph the Rhodes family again. It's amazing to see how much little Elizabeth has changed in just one year - what a cutie! We had a lot of fun downtown Lafayette. Thank you again, Jill and Kyle. I hope you like the sneak peek.

Sonia, Wyatt, and Cora - Fall fun

It was the perfect fall day today...so what better to do that go to the park?! I have known Sonia for many years, and she's always been such a sweetheart. It was so fun getting to see her and taking portraits of her sweet family. Cora is 22 months old, and just a doll. I remember trying to capture pics of Melia (my daughter) when she was that age it was next to impossible to get her to stand still long enough to get her face rather than the back of her head. HA! Thanks so much, Sonia and Wyatt, for allowing me to capture a moment in time with you and your sweet little girl. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

Danyelle and Andrew Get Hitched!

It was a dream wedding on a dream day. Danyelle could be a model. The weather in Louisville cooled off slightly and made it a perfect day for a summer wedding outdoors. Danyelle and Andrew were married at Gingerwoods in Louisville, KY. It was unforgettable in so many ways. One of my favorite stories from the day was the big bumble bee that decided it wanted a bite of Danyelle's bouquet. I must say, she handled that with a lot more grace than I would have! Thank you, Danyelle and Andrew, for trusting me to capture your love on your wedding day. I can't wait to share all of the photos with you. But until then, I hope you like the sneak peek.

Beautiful rings!

Andrew patiently waiting for the big I do's.

Hello Gorgeous!

So in love!

Baby Mela

How does 6 months go by so fast? Today I had the pleasure of capturing some portraits of sweet baby Mela. It seems like just yesterday that I was at Nathan and Monica's house taking photos when she was just a few days old. She is super cute! I think you'll agree. Monica and Nathan, thank you for allowing me to capture a moment in time with your sweet daughter.

Danyelle and Andrew - Engaged!

Yesterday was a blast. I had the opportunity to meet Danyelle and Andrew who's wedding I will be capturing in July. We headed to Bernheim Forest in Louisville and couldn't have had a better day. Although it got a little hot towards the end, we couldn't have asked for a prettier summer day. It's so much fun getting to photograph two people so in love. It was next to impossible to narrow this preview down to 5 photos -- they were such a cute couple. I can't wait to see you in July, Danyelle and Andrew. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Baby Penelope

I know it's been a while since my last post, but I promise I have a good excuse. Ian and I welcomed a new baby boy on March 15 and I vowed to take a maternity leave. I took a quick vacation from my leave today to capture baby Penelope. I am sure you will agree with me that she's one of the cutest little girls ever! I am so glad the weather held out during our scheduled time. Thank you, Abby, for keeping the faith today! It was great meeting you and your sweet family. I hope you like the sneak peek.
