After taking these photos on Memorial Day weekend, I took a week of vacation to work on preparing our house to put on the market. I am excited I finally have the chance this morning to finish up the post processing and post them. I have to say, it's not easy to get 14 people to look at the camera, keep their eyes open, and smile at the same time. The ironic thing was, the 6 month baby was one of the easiest to get to do all of the above. Jan, thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture your family. Thank you to the whole family for being so patient and kind. You are wonderful. Enjoy your sneak peek.
Yesterday I had the chance to photograph 2 awesome guys. Both of the men pictured here are so talented and fun. Who knows, maybe they will be famous someday and these pictures will be worth even more. Gina, thanks for coming to my house this weekend to capture your young men. I hope you like the photos as much as I do!
On top of the cute baby today, I had the chance to work with a dear friend and her family. I think the pictures speak for themselves. They are a great family. Natalie, thanks so much for having me capture your crew (and of course even more for your wonderful friendship). I hope you like the sneak peek.
I had such a fun day today. 2 photo shoots on such a gorgeous day. If you follow my blog at all, you may think the photos below look a little familiar. That is because it was just 2 months ago that I had the opportunity to capture Jacob's 4 month photos. Now that the weather warmed up and he can sit up on his own, we got back together to snap shots of Jacob at 6 months. He's such a sweetie. Thank you, Jason and Elissa, for trusting me to capture Jacob's pictures at this fun age. I hope you enjoy the sneak peak.
This weekend I had the pleasure of taking Phillip's senior portraits. I had no idea when I booked this appointment that I would have as much fun as I did. I always like doing senior portraits because you have a chance to truly capture the personality of each individual. Phillip had a great personality and was so much fun to work with. I think you can tell by the photos. Cindy, Phillip, and Hannah - I hope you enjoy the sneak peek. Thank you for the opportunity to capture this fun time in your life!
Yesterday I had a great time hanging out with my best friend, Alicia, and her fiance, Peter. I am not taking their wedding photos because I have other duties that day, but I was so excited to take their engagement photos. We spent some time on Purdue's campus, a local park, and downtown. It's so great see your friend so in love and to have the chance to capture this time in her life. Thank you, Alicia and Peter, for spending the afternoon with me yesterday and allowing me to capture your love.
Today I had the pleasure of photographing 4 month old Jacob. He was an absolute doll. His mom said his dad could make him smile, and boy was she right (although I think he was smiling at mommy too). I had a first with this one...right when we began the photo shoot, the tornado sirens were sounding. I am glad we didn't end up with more of a story than just that. Elissa, thank you for trusting me to capture your precious angel. I can't wait to do it again in a couple of months. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek.
